Discover the history of the castle of Bienassis

The castle of Bienassis, built in the seventeenth century in pink sandstone of Erquy, stands majestically on the site of a castle of the fifteenth century. Although the ramparts, two turrets and the watchtower remain from the old structure, the castle was turned into a prison during the Revolution. Inside, you can admire magnificent granite fireplaces, imposing staircases and period furniture dating from the fifteenth and seventeenth centuries.
