Château de Grossouvre, 18600 GROSSOUVRE, Cher

Grossouvre is a castle located in France whose history dates back to the fourteenth century. For four hundred years, it was occupied by the Grivel family. In the nineteenth century, it became the property of the Marquis of Aguado, who restored it and made it a meeting place for magnificent hunts. Emperor Napoleon III and his wife Eugenie were regulars in Grossouvre at that time.

During the twentieth century, the castle changed ownership several times. Finally, in 1998, he began an extensive renovation program with the aim of opening a museum of ancient weapons.
