Discover the history of the castle of Le Bois Orcan

Located in Noyal-sur-Vilaine, the Château du Bois Orcant is a magnificent example of fifteenth-century architecture, built by Julien Thierry, silversmith of Anne of Brittany. After a complete restoration, this jewel now regains all its authenticity. In addition to its architectural splendour, this refined stately home houses a fascinating collection of medieval furniture and objects.

The Domaine du Bois Orcant also offers another treasure: the Athanor. It is a sculpture park and an interior museum that pays tribute to Etienne Martin (1913-1995), an internationally renowned sculptor. By exploring this place, visitors will have the opportunity to discover Martin's captivating work, whose artistic influence extends beyond borders.
